Dr Compton-Smith
Clinical Psychology

My ADHD and autism assessments give you clarity and understanding, so you can finally stop doubting yourself and start moving forward.

Hello

Hi, I'm Emily. I'm a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and I specialise in ADHD and autism.

My approach is neuroaffirmative and grounded in compassion. I know how powerful it can be to finally have answers - to see your brain as simply wired differently, not broken.

Many of the people I work with spend years wondering why life has felt so hard, often struggling in silence.

My assessments are designed to change that. My approach is compassionate and thorough, to give you clarity, validation, and a new way of understanding yourself or your child.

A client's experience

I had a really positive experience using Dr Compton-Smith Clinical Psychology. Emily was very accommodating and made me feel at ease, listened to and supported throughout the process up to and including the assessment. She was professional and thorough with her assessment and report.
